Strong Showing for GAHS Speech & Debate at States

In an impressive showing at the Pennsylvania High School Speech League (PHSSL) State Tournament, our GAHS Speech and Debate Warriors demonstrated talent, depth, and dedication across multiple events!
Leading the Warrior Way, senior Claire Jurney captured the state championship in Extemporaneous Debate. As finalists, senior Nico Oshunrinade and freshman Ruby Lancaster each placed fourth in Informative Speaking and Program of Oral Interpretation, respectively.
The Parliamentary Debate team advanced to the quarterfinals, finishing among the top eight teams in the state, which was an incredible accomplishment for freshmen Gabe Rice and Henry Russell.
Junior Sarah Rice competing in Impromptu Speaking and senior Parishi Bhanu in Persuasive Speaking delivered strong performances, each advancing to the semifinals. We are so proud of this outstanding representation.
